Sending Packages to Camp

Here are CYJ's guidelines on packages:

We no longer allow packages to be sent to campers.  That includes large envelopes, padded envelopes, and anything containing more than a letter.

Please don't worry if your camper forgets something at home. We will allow packages with forgotten items to be sent to the Camp Mom in care of your child.  Forgotten items are necessities like shoes, glasses, pillows, etc.  They are NOT magazines, stickers, notepads, etc.  We will have a stock of frequently needed items, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, sunscreen, and hair brushes, that we can provide to campers and charge to you.

Additionally, any camper with a birthday during camp will be allowed ONE birthday package.  Please mark your package "Birthday, June 10," for example, so that we know when it needs to be delivered.

Allowed packages should be addressed to Camp Mom, Attn: Your Camper, 121 Camp Young Judaea Dr, Woodcreek, TX 78676.  If your package contains medication or something health-related, please address it to the Camp Nurse instead of the Camp Mom.

We open ALL packages to check for prohibited items.  For the sake of maintaining our kosher status, protecting CYJers with allergies, supporting cleanliness, and avoiding pest infestations,  there  is absolutely  no food, candy, gum, or silly string allowed.
Any package that contains prohibited or unnecessary items will be sent home.
If you have any questions about packages before or during camp, please let us know: at 713-723-8354 or info@cyjtexas.org.
Ok, I won't send packages...but can I send regular mail and emails?  YES!!
