Grade shown is the grade your camper will be entering in fall 2027.
Payment Plans
A $500 deposit per child holds the spot for the summer. From there, choose one of two plans:
Pay in full at registration — by check, wire transfer, ACH, or credit card. Earns a 1.5% discount on tuition for a limited time.
Monthly installments between your registration date and May 15 — by ACH or credit card.
Credit card payments add a non-refundable 2.9% fee. Check, wire, and ACH have no fee. Checks are payable to CYJ and mailed to 5410 Bellaire Blvd, Suite 207, Bellaire, TX 77401.
Discounts
Early Bird — Register by September 8 for special CYJ swag and locked-in 2027 pricing. Prices are subject to change after September 25.
Jewish Professionals — $100 per child for colleagues in the field. Just let us know where you work.
Refer a Camper — Refer a family whose campers and siblings have never attended CYJ, and both families receive $100 off per camper.
Sibling Discount — $100 off each child's tuition when a family sends more than one camper. Not available on Mini Mensch or MIT tuition.
Scholarships
CYJ maintains its own Scholarship Fund. Please apply only if camp is genuinely out of reach without help — the application is thorough by design, and the fund exists for families who could not otherwise send their children.
A volunteer committee reviews applications on a rolling basis beginning in the winter. Awards are first-come, first-served, so apply early — late applications may not be considered.
Once your application is in, we can set up an agreed-upon payment plan to carry you until awards from CYJ and other sources come through.

Add-Ons and Optional Contributions
The camper application includes a page of optional opportunities. None are part of general tuition, and all are entirely voluntary.

A note on staff tips: Our staff are not allowed to accept individual gratuities. This is in keeping with American Camp Association guidelines and helps keep things fair across the whole team. The Counselor Celebration Fund is how families say thank you — a small gesture toward the counselors who pour their hearts into caring for your child every day.
Refund Policy
Our cancellation policy is built to let you commit early with little financial risk.
- Fully refundable through December 1
- December 2 – February 1: fully refundable except $250 (half the deposit)
- February 1 – May 1: fully refundable except $500 (the full deposit)
- After May 1: 50% of tuition refundable if cancelled before the session begins
- If a camper leaves early due to injury or illness at camp, we refund half the daily tuition for the remaining days of the session
