CYJ Scholarship Fund

We want to help your family get to Camp. In 1952, CYJ was created to allow all children to attend Camp regardless of financial ability. We still hold that value and do our best to work with families to make Camp affordable. In addition to outside organizations, we have our own CYJ Tuition Assistance fund!

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, and tuition aid will be awarded using a needs-based system. We have limited funds available for CYJ Tuition Assistance, so the earlier you apply, the more likely you will receive aid.

A volunteer committee will review the CYJ scholarship applications and allocate the tuition assistance awards. The committee meets in late winter and early spring to review the submitted applications. It's important to submit your application as soon as possible to be considered for a scholarship from the CYJ Tuition Assistance Fund. Late applications may not be considered. Your application will be kept confidential. Only a CYJ staff member and the head of the committee will have access to your identity.
