Houston Scholarships
Our aim is to assist you in sending your family to Camp! This can be achieved by making use of various forms of Tuition Assistance, with parents also needing to contribute to the cost of Camp. All scholarships are awarded based on financial need. Applying to multiple places and submitting applications on-time typically results in receiving more and larger scholarships. Each organization has a specific amount of money to award, and as they near the end of their selection process, they have fewer dollars available to distribute.

In summary, Houston families apply at each of these Scholarship Sources:
- Apply to JCRS
- Apply to the Houston Federation
- Each Congregation has its own scholarship process. Contact your Congregation, Rabbi, Brotherhood or Sisterhood President, or Youth Group Director. Note: It's best to contact each source individually. For example, Rabbi's have their own discretionary funds, and congregations generally have funds reserved for Camp.
- Apply to the CYJ Tuition Assistance Fund
Grants that are NOT need-based:
PJ Goes to Camp may be another grant option. If your child is an alum/na of PJ Library or has a sibling who is a member, he/she may be eligible. It is for first time Campers (past Mini Mensch and Nitzanim are eligible)
