Packages: What to Know

Old-school letters, yes. Amazon boxes, not so much. Here's the rundown.

Can I send a package?

Just don't. Honestly, that's the policy in one sentence.

Packages are not allowed — with two exceptions: birthdays and forgotten essentials we genuinely can't provide. Beyond that, kids don't need them. This has been our policy for 15 years, and parents love it, because camp itself is enough of a gift. Nobody needs to spend their summer playing "my package is better than yours" — that's not the kind of competition we're here to run.

If you're sending one of those two exceptions, label it clearly:

• "BIRTHDAY", or

• "C/O CAMP MOM"

Every package gets opened before delivery, and anything that doesn't belong (this is camp, use your imagination) gets held in the office until the end of the session — then it goes home with your camper, no questions asked, no confiscation drama.
