Who can come to CYJ?

The only prerequisites for coming to camp are that a child is Jewish and of the appropriate age—all other demographic considerations are irrelevant to us. We are proud of our diverse community and welcome any who would benefit from a summer at CYJ! This includes campers with disabilities!

  • We are committed to making camp a place where everyone is welcome, where our connection as parts of the Jewish community is more important than our differences.
  • We only accept caring, giving people as camp staff, and they’re trained to develop cohesive and supportive dynamics among campers.
  • CYJ employs a full-time professional Camper Care team, including the head of our Inclusion Program for children with disabilities
